The new generation artist Jinyao Lin is not only a composer but also a video artist. He learned composition from Taipei National University of the Art, music department. After his bachelor study he turned into Graduate Institute of Tech-Art and achieved his master of fine art. Now he is a PHD candidate of National
Taiwan University, Graduate Institute of Networking and Multimedia, Image and Vision Lab. .
2009, In the flagship production "the Mazu’s
bodyguard" by NTCH, he tried to compose the original Taiwanese Opera with a new fusion style which has won the China Times art critic as the best
spotlight. In the work In 2010, he
created an interactive multimedia theater “Distortion City”, which also
won great reviews. In 2011 he was sent to Lyon France as a residence artist by DAC Taiwan and had his work "Tracks" published in Opera Lyon.
His works include music pieces, digital installation and drama.
